Our Work

  1. Advocacy to community, political, and business leaders to establish trusts and support networks for other kids who are in trouble with the law; to reform the juvenile justice and corrections systems along more effective and humanitarian lines; and to encourage the employment and mentorship of promising young people with felony records.
  2. Pilot Programs to test, perfect, and document new initiatives for helping young felons make a new start in life. These programs will serve a limited number of young people who will be selected on the basis of need and their receptivity to rehabilitation.
  3. Information Clearinghouse to disseminate information about rehabilitation and support programs which do and don’t work, especially those which show the greatest promise for helping young felons successfully make the prison-to-freedom transition.
